Sketching at Spurn head - a special place

Sketching is the basic building block of art but I feel it is much more tan that it is a journey through life sometimes a record sometimes an image, It does not matter how a sketch is completed or how accurate the depiction on the subject is, its about connecting your brain to the outside word. This can work both ways from a thought inside your head which is transferred in to a tangible picture or an observed subject which is transferred to memory via my hand, I remember so much more by recording and sketching than a photograph can and its also about feelings.
