I like to experiment using different mediums and styles

Bird painting has been by main Wildlife subject for over 40 years although I do paint a wide variety of natural history subjects and incorporate landscapes and other subjects within my paintings.

Along side of my more traditional painting I am exploring the simplicity of line and tone.

I  try to get out in to the field as much as possible. Its important to know your subject  in all kinds of conditions not only does it inspire it is crucial for portraying any subject.
