Artists comment :
A symbol of the returning spring resting at the ancient village of Chysauster in Cornwall. I visited the ancient village of Chysauster just before it opened to the public and was taken by the lichens covering the stones. The 2000 year old village offers uninterrupted views over Mounts Bay. Although there were no Wheatears when I visited I am sure there will be in the Spring/ Summer.
