  Artists comment :
I am honoured that this painting will feature in June's Wildlscape magazine and will be exhibited at the Hiram Blauvelt art museum at the AFC annual exhibition. This is based on the light coloured granite found around Lands End in Cornwall and the isles of Scilly. The Ringed Plover is a breeding species in Cornwall and I have created the painting near life size.
