  Artists comment :

On Goonhilly downs pool have formed where ractors or 4 wheeled drive vehicles have made ruts by gates..

The downs are famous for having the biggest satellite tracking station on earth, but the downs themselves are a great place for a variety of birds and unique flora.y There are tadpoles and all sorts of wildlife. The Snipe is a bird which you see, and hear, just before you tread on it. The bird sits well in the soft browns and yellows of the grasses.

I do not paint every single blade of grasses I feel this can look too perfect but prefer to create the overall effect and feeling.
