The key painting for me in starting to understand the way light and contrast impact on water.
The painting won the Ken Stroud Founders awards at the 2007 annual exhibition of the Wildlife Art Society International at art for nature in Gloucester. I was told this painting made them feel 'wet'. I take this as a great comment and if it has achieved this then I have done my job.
